"Yes I do."

Alex sighs. "Sam, you honestly do not." He felt she didn't need to, anyway.

"It's not just because I feel like I owe it to you, Alex. It's because I honestly don't want to see you die. I don't want to go to your funeral. I don't want to watch people cry over you." She sighed, "You don't get it. I've spent nine hundred years seeing you die."

"Well actually, with Toy I did not die until I was reallyreally old."

Sam shuddered, "Staph. It freaks me out that you were Toy. I have no idea who Neya was in that freakin' life either. So weird."

So Alex shuts up. He had no idea of why it was awkward.

"I mean, seriously. You raised my daughter in that life whose father was Kyo." Sam dry hurled, that entire thought making her want to vomit into the toilet. "Ew. I'm related to Kyo somehow. Ew."

"...you are related to Kyo through yourself. Gene-ception?"

"I'm both mother and distant relative."

Alex blinks. "Because reincarnation logic?"

"Can we even still call it logic?" Sam asked with a slight laugh. At least they weren't fighting... Kinda... Well she doesn't hate him! Then again, she never did... I can't keep Sam bitchy and long-speeches for more than like ten posts. Damn it.

"In a screwy sense, you can."

"In a screwy sense, someone could argue that we're all somewhat related, so how about we don't think of anything in a weird sense?" Sam proposed, really not wanting someone to comment on how she was kind of his mother. Looks like someone forgot that they were locked in a bathroom.

Alex coughs awkwardly. "Riiight. So...how has your week been?"

"Full of shit different emotions."

Alex pats Sam's arm, trying to comfort her. He wanted to give her a hug, but he had no idea if that would end with a punch in the throat.

"I'd say that I blame you for most of it, but I'm sick of things happening just right before we actually get together, so I'm pushing the pause button. We don't fight, we don't talk about which side of the egg-hunt we're on, we stay friends and we don't try to be together too soon. Once we both agree that it's the right time, then we hit play. Deal?" Sam's done with this fucking interrupting shit that keeps happening.

Alex just nods, understanding.

Sam sighed and opened a drawer, which Asya floated out of screaming, "You locked me in a drawer! It's been five hours!"

"You deserved it." Sam shrugged, "Now character change with me. I wanna see if you being part-bear helps me with the whole trying to break down the door thing."

Alex steps back. "Not sure if I should call that chara abuse or what." He blinks, wondering why Asya was locked in a drawer.

"She kept biting me." Sam explained, "Every time I shut my eyes to go to sleep, she'd bite me. Every time I sat, ate, anything, she'd bite me. That is what I'd call bearer abuse."

"You were being lazy." Aysa snapped, glaring.

"You stole my food too!" Sam shot back with the exact same glare.

With that, Alex closes Asya back in the drawer. If Sam was being abused, that was bad. Especially by a creepy little drmon-chara.

Sam looked over at Alex, raising an eyebrow. She laughed a little and shook her head. "What was that for?"

"She's like a more hostile version of Vertige. And less tolerable. So I figured she was better off being creepy inside a drawer.

"She's evil and she loves it," Sam nodded, "And I don't have another chara to balance it out. There's just her..."
