"...why not have this conversation in something other than a graveyard complete with cannibals?" Convenient conversation changer was convenient.

"Because until Sam gets back out here with Anne or Tet, and-dash-or Kostya and Shka show up, we're basically dead anyways." Neya wasn't going to let a subject change happen.

"Eaten by myself, or questioned to death by my older sister. Decisions decisions...." Alex grumbles under his breath, rolling his eyes.

"I'd go with the latter. The former sounds like a real mind fuck."
