"Let's go to the tree. house." Luka agreed, following. While that was funny as hell, she needed to see the tree.




house.

"Wait, Luka, you know how to get back there right? I don't, so...." Sam grinned sheepishly, while Neya scoffed in the background.
"Dude, how do you not know your way there? It's not like it's a complicated route."

"You just have to look where the hell you're going." Luka points out. Neya was right, it wasn't too hard. She had no idea why people used to get lost in that shit all the time.

Sam rolled her eyes, "Says the woman who's best friend with the tree (house) and the other woman who has a photographic memory."

"Says the woman who fucking lived in these woods at one point." Luka countered.

"Nine hundred years ago," Sam shot back, even though while she had taken her mind off actually trying to get to the tree, she was leading the way to the tree.

"It's working though, isn't it?" Luka asked smugly.

"What's working?" Sam asked, not even paying attention. Such fail.

"You're leading us to the tree. I'm not doing shit." Luka points out.

Sam stopped, literally like a few trees away from Held. "Oh. Cool."
Jill, then, ran up. "Hi.~"

"Jill." Luka greets with a smile, not looking unhappy to see her green haired friend.

Jill waved, before getting tackled by Ella again, "They're alive.~"

"I never would have guessed." Luka answers, sounding vaguely sarcastic. She figured Jill was still alive, but Claire still being alive was the surprising part.

Ella giggled, "I wouldn't have! We all ended up at high school together, so when they split up, I got worried!"

"Eh. It happens."

Jill nodded, "We always get back together somehow."

"Exactly. If push comes to shove, everyone is gonna show up at one point or another." Which made Luka worry about certain sinners they hadn't run into yet, but we'll c ross that bridge when we get there.

Jill smirked at Luka, knowing exactly what she meant. Ella was totally clueless, or at least seemed to be while Sam didn't really care. "Soooo, other than getting us away from a super awkward situation back there, why are we here?"

"I don't know. You're the one that brought us here, smartass." That was true. It was Sam's idea to go to the tree






House.

"I just don't like the twins' mother." Sam replied, "And I could tell it was making Neya uncomfortable." Neya just shrugged.

"No one likes the twins' mother." Anne points out, scowling.

"Anne, she's your mom." Neya pointed out with a laugh, mostly because she wanted someone to have a good relationship with their mother. It might as well be her siblings.

"Yeah, except she isn't acting like one. That's the first time we've seen her face to face since she and dad split up. Dammit, /Tet/ has seen her more recently than we have!" Anne snapped, glaring at her older sister. "So sorry I can't exactly forgive her for vanishing for three damn years."

"Yeah but-"
"Neya, stop." Sam snapped quickly, shooting a glare at her friend.

Alex remained silent throughout this entire exchange, staring up at the treetops.
