"Good girl. Guess what I found in the museum?"

"So a lot of things. Neither of them are the most forgiving people you'll meet." Alex was worried about any deaths that might happen this time around.

"Hm?"

Anne's not stupid. We all know that it's not our fault, but the vessel's fault.

"Your doll. Sitting there in the middle of the room." Luka grins.

"Anne has no idea about that."

Ella shot up, "We need to protect it! I don't want to kill again!" She got down on her knees and clasped her hands together, letting them settle at the top of her nose as she lowered her head and closed her eyes, begging, "Luka, please, please, please, please protect it!"

Sam rolled her eyes, There's your answer. Tell her. Explain.

"Pssh. Of course I won't let that happen again, Ella. You have my word on it. That doll won't move an inch from where it's sitting." Despite the fact that Luka promises were rare...she did mean every word she said. Not only was Ella her friend. It'd also be beneficial to everyone else if she didn't go batshit again.

Well alright...I will try... This oughta go well.

Ella shot up again and hugged her friend tightly. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!"

Sam nodded and shut her phone, wondering what would happen with those two.

"Anytime Ella. Now...I have a favor to ask you. Two...actually."

"Anything!" Ella smiled

"One...please let go of me...so I can breath?" Luka was finding it a little hard to breath. For such a tiny, wimpy looking girl, Ella could squeeze you to death and not mean to. "Second thing. Could you sing for me? If the doll is close by, there may be others near us as well, and I'd rather know where those are, so we don't have any 'incidents'." 'Incidents' equaling rape, cannibalism, genocide, serial killings, delusional murders and corrupt court systems. First world problems. Like...the very first world.

Ella let go of Luka and then started singing. Eh. It's sort of bad doe, considering she was singing "Moonlit Bear" in German.

Whatever. Close enough. At the end of the song, Luka asks. "...well? Do you hear something?"

Ella shrugged

"You didn't hear anything at all?" Luka was kind of relieved and kind of disappointed. On one hand, the vessels weren't nearby, which meant they were hopefully still in the Theater, unharmed. On the other...they had no idea where they were, so they could be in the middle of a construction site or garbage dump somewhere.

"Nope. I heard something...... It's just hard to tell if it's something other then my vessel." Ella replied, frowning. "I think that I can hear at least two tones, but I've never really trained myself on which one is which other then the doll."

"Well, the museum is that way. Did the other sound come from another direction?"

Ella nodded, "I think so, but it was relatively the same, just a bit off."

"Well, that's more than I knew fifteen minutes ago, so...thank you, Ella." Smiling at her friend, she continues, "...and like I said. That doll? Don't worry about it. As long as it stays in the museum, it's safe." Yeah. There's your problem. That night, it was being stolen, Luka. Where are those prophetic visions when you need 'em, huh?

Ella nodded, "As long as it doesn't break."

"So....should we tell Sam and Alex about this new one you've heard?"

"I know that Sam doesn't know much about the vessels, just the basics... I don't know about Alex, though." Ella said, as if that would help at all.

"I doubt Alex knows more than the basics, himself. Jill?" Luka shrugs.

"She's your apprentice. You tell me."

"Hell, I dunno. She doesn't act like she did the last time I saw her. I don't know if it's an act, or if she completely freaking lost it after the incident with Pere Noel and the Freesis Foundation." Luka shrugs, not knowing what to do, honestly.

Ella looked away.

"Eh...I'll wait and see. What's the worst that could happen? Neither vessel's going to go anywhere any time soon. No one cares about them but the three of us. Well...the others care too..but not like we do."
