"Who was that?" Sam asked, looking over at Luka.

"Hell if I know." Giving a dismissive shrug, the witch continues with, "I have a theory, but it involves time travel, alternate universes, and straight up mind control."

"Care to explain or is that all we're going to get?" Neya asked, because she actually wanted to know.

"I want to prove it before I go into details, but I think that's me, sort of." Luka blinks, staring after where the woman had left.

"Waitwhat?" Both Sam and Neya said at the same time, the two turning to look at Luka.

"Time travel, alternate universes, and brainwashing." Luka gives a dismissive wave of her hand.

"Brainwashing?" Sam asked
"Do we need Ella and Kostya?" Neya questioned, looking after the maybe-Luka

"There's no way in hell I'd live with myself like that if I wasn't under some serious mind control." Luka responds to Sam, then looks at Neya, "Why?"

"Because there's a crazy Luka running around that it evil?" Neya hissed, while Sam contemplated what Luka said. Mind control. Interesting, apparently.

"I wouldn't say evil necessarily. I think I balance out the evil enough. Just an extreme case of 'no fucks were given'. Or too many fucks. Still not sure about that." The pink haired witch thinks about this for a moment.

"She's with the crazy cannibals!" Neya yelled, since the evil thing was just like for-sure in her mind.

"So? The Magi isn't evil. She really really just doesn't give a fuck when it comes to protecting Sin vessels."

"Then why did she hire the fucking cannibals?!" Neya yelled because this logic...

"Would you try to steal a sin vessel if it was guarded by cannibals?"

"Apparently, yes."

"Shut the fuck up, Alex."

"That's exactly what we're doing, Luka." Sam pointed out, backing up Alex.

"We don't fucking count. I'm talking about people that aren't fucking crazy."

"Point is, we should be fine."

"Should be, Luka?" Anne catches that little should hidden in there.

"On the off chance she does indeed happen to be the Magi, and she's not in a particularly amiable mood, we can trip up Tetso and run. He hs the best chance of survival."

"I'm surprisingly okay with that," Sam smiled, giving Tet a sympathetic look.
Neya growled, "I'm not."

"Neither am I. Why don't we trip you?" Ane gives Luka the death glare.

"Becaauuuse..." Luka thinks for a moment. "She'll kill me without a second thought, then keep chasing all of you?"

"Yeah, but unlike us, you can defend yourself.. From yourself... Slightly... Hopefully."

"...to an extent. Tet wouldn't need to defend himself. Ma and Gallerian were like...best friends through hoarding sin shit." Luka shakes her head. "Poor guy never did get his wish granted. Well, technically he did. But he didn't."

"She would know that Tet wasn't actually Gallerian. He isn't following Ella around going 'daughter this, daughter that' now is he?" Neya pointed out.

"No, but in all technicality, since he used to be Gallerian, he could do a damn good job at pretending. I can't just...pretend to share bodies with Irina and possess a magic I don't have." Luka could lie, but that tool acting skills beyond what she had.

"So we actually do need Kostya's sister?" Sam asked, looking over at Luka. Oops. After what happened in Japan, she and Ella had been making sure for that girl never to come near them again.
