Anne breathes a sigh of relief, and starts petting one of the ducks.

Beards aren't attractive, and Sam wanted to make that clear, "That applies for you as well, Alex, but I'll use a flamethrower."

Good thing for Sam, Alex couldn't seem to grow facial hair. "So you want me to make sure I grow the ugliest beard possible? Got it.~" From the way he was trying not to laugh, he was obviously kidding, but made a weak attempt to look nonchalant.

Sam rolled her eyes, "You honestly think that was clever?" Sam wasn't kidding.

"No, I was just making sure, that in the case of me being abducted and brainwashed by backwoods hicks, you'd save me from the beard monster."

"I would, but if that didn't work and you were completely brainwashed, I might have to put you down."

"So...Are we going now that we have these guys or not?" Tetsoya asks since if they aren't actually going to use them then it was pointless for him to almost fall in the pond several times.

"Luka, lead on," Neya said, since she could tell her brother was starting to get annoyed.

"Right, right. Ducks. Theater. On it." Luka starts leading the way again.

"Duckling line up!" Neya yelled, following directly behind Sam, who had just taken off after Luka.

"Back to ducklings!" The twins cheer, falling in behind Neya.

"The difference is that you three actually look like ducklings, while Luka looks like a flamingo and I'm a robin or something," Sam laughed, but then her expression went serious, "And if any of you tell Ella I said that, I will kill you."

"What the fuck kind of pot is being passed around here so that three ducks and a robin are following a flamingo, because I want that shit." Anne regards their line curiously.

"It's a pretty, very pink thing. What bird wouldn't be curious? I mean, Ella's attached to her, right?" Sam pointed out with a shrug, "Although, if your fiance drugged our food again, I'm going to kill him, for real this time. Fuck morals." Yay for Meta!Sam reappearing. Whoopwhoop.

"When did I drug your food a first time? The only thing I put drugs in are the brownies and that's it. So unless you count those I haven't made something with drugs." Tetsoya says really confused here.

"Actually...I think last time was Anne's fault, not Tet's." Alex adds into the conversation.

"Iunno, something. Probably the brownies, although, you could make it into so much more. Seriously, you're a bad drug dealer. And not the good kind of bad drug dealer either," Sam replied with a laugh, falling back on Neya a bit. The blonde didn't say anything and pushed her friend forward.

"Yeah...she ate a brownie. Way to go, dumbass."  Giving a pointed glare toward his sister's fiance, then helped his older sister keep Sam upright.

"Nope," Sam giggled, "I just had a lot to drink. Told you that you couldn't keep me away from it."

"DAMMIT."

"Lost a bet with Sam?" Anne was amused.

"Yeah..."

"How much did you have?"

"Well, I was worried that Alex might be able to actually do it, so I had half my sash."

"Half?!""

"Yup.~" Sam giggled, throwing her arms over Neya and Alex's shoulders.

"...I knew that stash looked too small to be Sam's..."

"Duh-" Sam looked at Neya, "I think you need to take me back to the duck pond, like, now."

"You're going to...?"

"Yup."

"Ew, get away from me!" Neya yelled, pushing the girl into the bushes.

It's always the bushes.

The twins look at each other and shrug, not understanding.
